i just got home from aunt dana's! i couldn't get hunter to take a picture by himself because he was being a brat, but i managed this picture with all three of the polings with the fake witch. willow was SUPPOSED to be a goddess fairy but she decided she wanted to be a princess instead, so we took the wings off and took her wand. lexie is obviously a bride. i told her a corpse bride or a gothic bride (like teagan was) would have been cooler. hunter was dan from bakugan (so was jaden) and fatty mcfatfat was superman. they all look super cute!

happy halloween!

the title speaks for itself! tonight is the night all the zombies, ghouls, ghosts, and the cast of michael jackson's 'thriller' come out for a night of terrorizing fun! now, i don't know about you but isn't halloween supposed to be... scary? why all the cute costumes? whatever happened to the traditional warlock, witch, pumpkin head, troll, zombie, scream guy, ax in the forehead, eyeball falling out, snake growing from the neck kind of thing? honestly, people that come to the door dressed like that scare me to death, but its all fun and games isn't it? i remember when i was seven years old i saw three girls dressed up as the sanderson sisters from the best halloween movie ever, 'hocus pocus' and i went nuts and said "cover your ears!" lol. i'll be handing out candy tonight, not dressing up. i am going to a party in a little bit though. i'll post some pics of the kiddos costumes later on tonight. what are you dressing up as?

safe return

lindsey is home! she has a chest cold and doesn't feel too good but she's home and safe and she's alright other than that cold. thank you so much to who kept an eye out, it was very appreciated and thank you to all of those who prayed for her safe return. we're so glad she came back home and her parents are very relieved.

runaway

my cousin lindsay ran away and its been a week since anyone's seen her. he's 14 years old, she's run away 11 times and arrested 2. her mother is a great mother, so her parenting is not to blame. lindsay is seriously rebelling and the whole family is worried about her. she's probably most likely in the bakersfield or los angeles area (both in california) so if anyone has seen her, please e-mail me at yikezitzkaitlyn@aol.com and let me know exact locations you've seen her at. hell, if you have a camera or camera phone with you, take a picture of her and send it to me, but definitely let me know the location you saw her at. we're all worried about her. here are some pictures to give you an idea of what she looks like. i'm almost certain that her hair is still black, but i haven't seen her in a while, so i don't know for sure.

the first picture is just a pic of me and my late aunt terry. i miss her to death and i will ALWAYS love her. the graphic below that is what i made. the names are family members, but not all of them. i was going to include more but my program quit on me and i couldn't re-open it to finish it, but they are not forgotten. they are still very important for this project. the song is called sissy's song by alan jackson and it was requested by aunt dana at the funeral service.

i made three new signatures not even five minutes ago. they're of ashley tisdale and her boyfriend scott speer. they all have the same layout, i just put different textures on them. what do you think?

baby boom

i experimented with some baby pictures yesterday and they came out pretty good. the original pictures were taken by one of my high school teacher's daughters, kristin spurlock. all images are copywrite to kristin spurlock, i just added effects. you can find her photography website at the right under my links. i'm sure you know this, but click the pictures to make them bigger.

must sees (for me)

there's two movies i'm dying to see. 'where the wild things are' looks like a really cute movie that the kids would enjoy. i feel like i've seen those creatures before. it was probably the book, although i've never picked it up before in my life, let alone ever read it. i'm thinking there was a cartoon or something about it, because they look super familiar. 'bandslam' is something that i'm personally interested in because i'm a fan of vanessa hudgens and aly michalka. they're both good actresses. i also love musicals, so that's another reason i want to see it.

blah, blah, blah...

i just finished reading the BEST fanfiction of high school musical, ever. it's called 'in two seconds' and it's sooo good. it took me two friggin days to read it, but dammit i got it done! i'm writing a story about 'bandslam'. it's going okay so far, but i think it could go better. i'm only writing the second chapter right now but it's coming out okay, i guess. i've been totally abandoning my poor blog. but, it's okay now cuz i'm finally posting. the new baby is supposed to be due in may but we're not sure yet. i'll fill you in on that later on though. so, i've had headaches for the past two days. right now, it's barely there but i can still kind of feel it. i'm watching tv with the family, but i'm not paying attention. i watched 'la ink' with kat von d and i learned that a lot of tattoos have a lot of meaning behind them. one girl got a tattoo of three lillies because her grandmother, mother, and sister's names were lilly. that was pretty neat. i really like ashley tisdale's tattoo. hers says 'believe' and there's two stars at the end. i've only seen some of it, but it's pretty. alrighty... i guess i better go and finish my second chapter. later.
